Jesus IN There

Tomorrow morning," the surgeon began, "I'll open up your heart..."

"You'll find Jesus there," the boy interrupted.

The surgeon looked up, annoyed. "I'll cut your heart open," he continued, "to see how much damage has been done..."

"But when you open up my heart, you'll find Jesus in there."

The surgeon looked to the parents, who sat quietly.

"When I see how much damage has been done, I'll sew your heart and chest back up and I'll plan what to do next."

"But you'll find Jesus in my heart.
The Bible says He lives there.
The hymns all say He lives there.
You'll find Him in my heart."

The surgeon had had enough.
"I'll tell you what I'll find in your heart. I'll find damaged muscle, low blood supply, and weakened vessels. And I'll find out if I can make you well."

"You'll find Jesus there too.
He lives there."

The surgeon left. The surgeon sat in his office, recording his notes from the surgery, "...damaged aorta, damaged pulmonary vein, widespread muscle degeneration. No hope for transplant, no hope for cure. Therapy: pain killers and bed rest. Prognosis:, " here he paused, "death within one year."

He stopped the recorder, but there was more to be said. "Why?" he asked aloud. "Why did You do this? You've put him here; You've put him in this pain; and You've cursed him to an early death. Why?"

The Lord answered and said,
"The boy, My lamb, was not meant for your flock for long, for he is a part of My flock, and will forever be. Here, in My flock, he will feel no pain, and will be comforted as you cannot imagine. His parents will one day join him here, and they will know peace, and My flock will continue to grow."

The surgeon's tears were hot, but his anger was hotter.
"You created that boy,
and You created that heart.
He'll be dead in months.
Why?"

The Lord answered,
"The boy, My lamb, shall return to My flock, for he has done his duty: I did not put My lamb with your flock to lose him, but to retrieve another lost lamb."

The surgeon wept.

The surgeon sat beside the boy's bed; the boy's parents sat across from him. The boy awoke and whispered,

"Did you cut open my heart?"

"Yes," said the surgeon.

"What did you find?" asked the boy.

"I found Jesus there," said the surgeon.

I know many have lost loved ones, old and the very young.
Sometimes it just doesn't seem to make sense
But I know Jesus loves all of us and He loves each and every angel He loans us. He always has our souls best interest at heart.
I say loan because as a parent I hope that I have raised my kids in a way that they will choose Christ. He already loves them and He already became the ultimate sacrifice so that they can live forever in His presence and we as parents should automatically offer our children to Him and though we love them they are His children He is simply allowing us the pleasure of taking care of them for Him.

I dedicate this page to all the babies of all ages who have
"JESUS IN THERE"

Yesterday morning June 20, 2002 a lil baby girl was taken back to heaven. The story from the news paper is below.

Toddler killed after running into path of truck in parking lot
Mom lost grasp of child; driver not expected to face charges

A 23-month-old girl broke away from her mother in their apartment parking lot Thursday and was killed when she ran into the path of a pickup, police and family members said.

Charmon Durham, 24, was taking Latavia Ingram to day care about 6:15 a.m. Thursday when the child ran away
and was struck by the truck.

"I was holding her hand, and she had my keys, and she threw my keys," Ms. Durham said.
"I let her hand go to pick up the keys out of the street.
By the time I got the keys,
turned around and stood back up, she was getting hit."

Police ruled the death, which occurred in the 2900 block of Groveview Drive near the intersection of Kiest Boulevard and Westmoreland Road in west Oak Cliff, an accident.
The driver is not expected to face charges.

The accident was the second in two days in North Texas
involving a young child. An 18-month-old girl was killed when her aunt backed over her as the woman was pulling out
of her driveway in Fort Worth.

After the accident in Dallas on Thursday, family and friends gathered in Ms. Durham's apartment to remember the toddler, nicknamed Tay Tay.

Her father said the girl – who was three days away from her second birthday was always by his side no matter what they were doing, be it taking in a movie or taking out the trash.

"She was my best friend, my buddy.
She's like my twin,"
said DeRon Ingram, 22.
"She will be well missed. That was my baby. I loved her very much."

About half a dozen people sat quietly in the apartment waiting for Ms. Durham to return from the police station.
Lucretia Cooksy, senior pastor at Jubilee United Methodist Church in Duncanville, said most of the family was in shock.

"You don't wake up in the morning expecting to lose your child," Ms. Cooksy said. "When something like this happens, there's not a whole lot you can say to make the pain and hurt any less.
But even in tragedy, God is present.

"This is a family that really loves each other. They're very tight."

Paternal grandmother Amonica Suzette Turner, 41, sat in the dining area and talked about her only granddaughter, pausing periodically to answer the telephone. She told Ms. Cooksy how the little girl would always peek around the edge of the pew, craning to see and hear the preacher. At the close of each sermon, she would clap her hands and say, "Amen."

"She's going to be missed and loved. She was our little angel,"
Ms. Turner said.

"I know God has his reasons for everything. It seems like a dream we're going to wake up [from]
and she's going to be running through here."

Mr. Ingram said family and friends will surround him on Sunday,
but not to grieve.
They will be celebrating Tay Tay's second birthday.

With great horror the lady driving stopped and as she jumped out of her truck it wasn't completely in park and as she got out the truck it ran over the baby again.

This story not only touched my family because this was a precious baby being hurt, but because we have two lil ones that are 11 months and 14 months. Lil Chris (14 month old) just started walking good and the thought of one of them hurt or gone is awful but even worse the baby that got hit was Lil Chris's parents neighbor.
This was/is real close to home.

Hold your babies tight, love every minute you have with them and love them every minute they are with you and make sure they know it by how you SHOW it!
