Rules for Operators in #Christian^Praise *UPDATED: October 11,2001* Simple to the point version Op rules 1.UpHold the rules we ask our guest to 2.NO arguing with each other or guest in channel 3.Be active in channel - not an idle nick - deop for away mode(not for sops) 4.Do NOT alter the ban list or op list (u can ban dont unban someone else's bans) 5.Fill out all forms required by ops (app & special days) 6.Be present for at least one meeting a month 7.Set temp bans for at least 30 min 8.Report bans and kicks on a notepad text (or log)to founder or co founder 9.If You are undecided seek guidance from a sop (other ops / founder) 10.Be willing to MINISTER -pray,help,lead,comfort,encourage, Mp3s are not our first reason to be here MORE detailed description of the op rules Basically this is more then a room Its part of the Ministry We are to uphold our rules as much as we want the guest to. We are to lift people not condemn or put people down no matter how bad off they seem. God loves them all as much as us. We don't have to fellowship with the ones determined not to be polite and all they want to do is argue or dis-respect us or the Lord we serve.. but we have to love them, and handle things as Jesus would. I know thats not always easy and be warned the devil sits out to purposely bring our joy down and to do that he uses people. We have to be above that. We are a moderated room, we have to voice them to see them, if they are being questionable devoice go prvt talk to them in channel put scriptures up so we sow seeds into their Spirit. They will change their attitude or leave. If they don't do either or this a matter of a bad nick or bad rooms they get asked 3 times make sure you ping them and make sure they are getting the warning. Some of this is common sense..treat them how YOU would want to be treated.. Some just need guidance. We aren't here to judge or downgrade. Keep that your focus Please. Be ready to Pray... (Matter of fact bad attitudes and power hungry will get you deopped) No opping anyone. Unless I have them on the op list to ck this type !leaders When serves are up only founder or sops can add someone to the op list to temp op because opguard is on To be opped here you have to follow these guidelines. To be opped here means we work together I wont tolerate any disputes between ops Its ok to disagree but I refuse to let this be anything more or less then a House of Worship and Fellowship If you have a question or a prob with each other we will take it to a prvt room and discuss NOT ARGUE I wont take sides I will let the Spirit Guide. And to serve Christian music or lyrics or something to contribute to the channel. I understand comp crashes and etc. I have dealt with it myself. The size of someone's "list" however wont decide ops. Some cant serve Materials but still have something to offer. THATS what counts If you cant be around for a long period of time please email me if you can and let me know what's going on (christianmp3@airmail.net) The deopping - I'm referring to hours away not temporary need to do things. This will help people see who is actually HERE not just idle servers aka bots :) If you change nicks or ips plzz email me or leave me a msg /query (my nick at the time) usually will be Ta_mi or Ta_mi-[away] I will be opping ONE nick only. NO exceptions all you have to do is in your perform type /nickserv identify (nick you are opped with) (pass for that nick) then you will get your op no matter what nick you use If chanserv don't op you when you first come in do this /nickserv identify (nick you are opped with) (passwerd for that nick) then type /chanserv op #Christian^Praise (Your current nick) If you still have problems email me or leave me a msg (you have to have a registered nick to be opped) When it is no choice left but to ban please send me a log of the event so that I can be aware of it in case its a repeat offender and needs to be on notice with the server(THIS IS IMPORTANT) Scripts are ok but plz disable repeat kick scripts. And if you are using a script I ask that you keep an eye on it. Absolutely no war scripts. Swear kicks are ok but keep an eye on it. Some words aren't bad and some scripts are sensitive and kicks for the letters being in a different word all together example might be "assume" so watch them scripts plz please. Better to disable it if u cant watch it. sh*t needs to be out of your list and wh*re because of the trivia bot No +v scripts need to be on.. (It is a moderated room - If noone is voicing then use your script if you need to. We just dont want or need 5 - 10 people voicing) Common sense here. Server Splits..protect the room. My comp goes down and my scripts aren't active use the scripts. While there is or isn't a bot or my comp up with the scripts WORK TOGETHER. Example: Silver is on the room when you get there. He's the only one there alive and oping. His scripts are working and aren't the same as yours work together. WORK TOGETHER!! - With scripts and oping.. Work together. Don't have all idle ops and scripts running. Be considerate of each other. Talk to each other If one op has been here oping alone for a while give them a break. Be helpful. We are a family. ---yes I repeated some things.. trying to make a point *smile*--------- I will have some t-ops to help out while no other ops are there and I need to step away. There is a list of temp ops. Help those you know are new. ---------------------------------NOTE----------------------- Be aware that these rules maybe added to as we grow and time passes. YOU are responsible for getting the Rules and OpRules and !News to keep up with what's going on I dont have time to make sure you all have them so keep a check on it each time you join the room -----Notice for current Ops-------- Everyone needs to fill out the op form and submit it to me. If I cant keep a reasonable amount of communication with you, you will be deopped. I'm flexible but I have ground rules and will obey them myself and expect my ops(leaders) to do the same This next rule some wont like but its what I feel is best for this room When holding your op position (means actually in the room as an op) I'm asking you only be opped in one other room. I don't care how many room you own or are opped in... thats your business. However when acting op in here you are a leader and I want you focused on that position People come in for prayer or help and we need to be alert Greet people and be alive leaders I don't mind you voicing yourself and being here to share music but if you are oped... Then be in this room watching. Yes I will be checking this. -------------------------------BANS---------------------- Temp bans on perv kicks needs to be at least 30 min For repeat offenders you need to msg me so I can akick them NO-ONE is to unban someone that they didn't put on the list with out first discussing this with me or the person who actually banned them. If there is a repeat offender this can be irritating for those who do the banning Another important reason for communication here ------Final Draw----------------------------------------- 1. you must contact me 2. you must fill out the ops app http://www.swatteens.org/opapp.htm or you will be deoped 3. You are given three chances for offenses of rule breaking or bad attitude. Then you will be deopped. I will however do according to the leading of the Spirit If at anytime you are influencing people in a negative way in ways that it is damaging to them Spiritually You may be immediately deopped and put on probation. Directly dis-respecting me because you have been around a long time will also get you deoped and put on probation 4.YOU have got to make at least one (1) meeting per month. Or you will be deopped. We need to work together. I have had a meeting per week sense starting founder ship and have even asked if the time is a difficult one for you, that you need to tell me. I have had very lil cooperation in this area. I will start giving out strikes (x) for those missing a month of meetings.
